{Knot Ties}

{Knot Ties}

A Poem by Fabric Pulse

Early morning memories,

knots to untangle.

A matter of perspective,

famine at angle.

Falsehood at fanatic,

fancier at fathom when traumatic.

Feeble felicitate,

festive late.

Fickle fiasco,

fewer fixtures headed

towards a forlorn crate.

Format friction,

nocturnal vixen.

Lyrical crazy,

vivacious vow,

cleaner vivify,

the voyage now.

Volatile volition,

volumize vulgar prohibition.

Family vogue,

like a single cup of liquor,

but a voice, gone rogue.

Wholesome contagions,

wisecrack flashings,

within misfortunes,

woken trashings.

Wallflower wardrobe,

an inner warrior waxy globe.

Wayside wean,

the weight of the daily whimsy
gassy as if it were a bean.

Bad memories glorify a darkening mindset. Lose the processed "Life sucks, I was screwed from birth on" famous home quote self-made to switch it to something more appropriate, less pity soaked. "Life is depression but I'm stronger and I'm gonna be somebody regardless of what I come from. I'll make nothing everything proving I'll pass onto future generations what is worth remembering from tragedies. I won't be defeated, life for me in all the mystery and predictability has just started, not meant to be a given out sentence of doom. I'll sing a song of hope, the loving remedy."

Dark memories are the best, because they keep you from going back to the dark times. Well written. Great alliteration

Each of your poems is like a play of words--picking a sound, letter, theme, imagine and rolling with it.

"Falsehood at fanatic/fancier at fathom when traumatic." Favorite line. I've seen well-known bands use vague lyrics that resemble your poetry many times---these would make great, fast-paced songs.
