{Whiskey Horizon}A Poem by Fabric Pulse
Whiskey horizons can appetize, every day it grows in size. Relationship success is mission abort, happiness in life takes you to court. Sunshine risings just bring drunken surprisings. Liquor lullabies have a catchy jingle which sends down your spine a shivering tingle. In my life there’s been quite a few alcohol betrayals, good people gone horribly wrong portrayals. Jack Daniels and Budweiser piles up in a stash, they drink themselves to sleep waking with hangovers just to go 24 pack shopping again along with the bottles, a waste of cash, their venom’s infectious as raging onward urging, it makes them sometimes a lunatic with a sadistic choice, that seldom scramble into a rash, in your mind as you stay in darker places that just means they put in your only get away vehicle tires a slash, the abduction of who they used to be falls down to a splash. © 2011 Fabric PulseAuthor's Note
