Solitude

Solitude

A Poem by Omaid Ibn Naimat

I am in solitude, let me be,
don't try to lure me out of my misery.

Why do you heal me only to inflict more pain?
Why do you wound me only to heal again?

Shall I love you for given joy or hate you for given pain?
I am utterly confounded, my heart's uncertain.

So let me be alone my dear friend,
not that I grudge you or wish to offend.

'Solitude' - a wonderful poem; comfortably written, pleasant indeed!

I'm an enthusiastic poetry fan and a keen writer also. The same applies to my art-painting etc...indeed, I'm addicted to working with my hands and the pleasure of it's contemplation!

Thank you, have a new fan!
