Bittersweet Redemption

Bittersweet Redemption

A Poem by Dream Weaver

Sweet redemption might I get just a taste, I’m so tired of living in this toxic waste.

Do me a favor let me shorten my breath, for this isolation is far worse than death?

I’ve lost my health my job my wife, forced to live this bohemian life.

Sweet redemption could you caress my soul, give me the pieces that once made me whole.

Lift this cloud so I might see, a better tomorrow embraced within me.

Poignancy my friend for far too long, extinguish this fire from my torch song.

What is a man whose life is misleading, when all hope is gone and can’t stop the bleeding?

Bittersweet redemption is all that I hear, fading into oblivion the final frontier.

What a sweet plea....who doesn't want/need redemption. So aptly put, the pain and frustration is palpable in this read. Nicely pen'd.

'Sweet redemption could you caress my soul, give me the pieces that once made me whole.'

Whole, what we all strive for.....

Thank you Frieda, if only all our plea's could be heard, the world might be a better place...
