Love but a MythA Poem by Dream Weaver?Love is but a myth, sprouting up from the earth, only hopeless romantics believe in its worth.
I love you; you love me, the most cliché utterance in history.
Taking vows a dream come true, I beat my brain till its black and blue.
Such foolish hearts become all a flutter; it means nothing to me but inadequate clutter.
Yes love is a myth though sometimes I do wonder… why such a spell has so many people under.
Perhaps there’s more here than meets the eye, I’m still not sold I won’t even try.
