Truly

Truly

A Poem by Dream Weaver

I’ll hold you through times of despair

if ever you feel that life is unfair. I’ll

be your guiding light when you’re

alone in the dark, your pot of gold at

the end of a rainbows arc.

I’ll be the sunlight that warms your

face, and the moonlight at night in a

romantic embrace. I’ll be everything

that you want me to be, your lover your

friend your morality.

I would be all that truly inspires, every

single wish that your heart desires. I

could be that and so much more if you

could only love me like you did before.

Such beautiful words. The last line really grips my heart though. Something so soft and beautiful turns into sadness. Well written!
