Death By Broken Heart

Death By Broken Heart

A Poem by Ally Nicole
"

"
The metal it burns its scorching

The plunge through my heart piercing

Today is the day

That I may cry

But all I tell myself is lies.

Like a broken clock

F**k the time

All that matters is in my mind.

Perfection comes

 and then it goes

When you realize it is not a friend but a foe

Like nails on a chalk board

Like tears at a funeral

You don't want to listen

But listen

What I'm telling you right now

Is true

You'de relate if it happened to you.

Day by day

Year by year

And all that grows is the fear

Let go of me now

Because I can't breathe

Kill me please a sweet relief

Can I borrow can I bury

Your heart that seems

To be intact

It ticks and it tocks

As a matter of fact

Miss me when I'm gone but I will not miss you

For it is you that put me in this mood.

You loved me then

so love me now

A bittersweet ending that came about

Your Roses are red

And the violets are blue

But I don't want them, f**k you.

I haven't been in a relationship but my sister would find this extremely relatable. I liked it; it was great.

This is good! I enjoy the shear truth of a heartbreak; how it can suck the life and well being out of someone
