You've been here all along,

We've been through thick and thin,

We'll always win.

Our souls collide.

I love you like a sister.

You gave me someone to depend on.

You gave me you.

You know me like no one else..

You're my best friend.

You are the sister to my soul.

The one who's been there since the begining.

We'll live our lives.

Standing side by side.

We'll protect each other till,

til we find others to protect us.

Some that we love.

And truly trust.

But we'll never let go.

Cause your my soul's sister.

Author's Note

I know this kinda sounds like a love peom for two people who are in love but it's not, okay. It just sounds like that in the beginning. But when I wrote this a long time ago it sounded even worse, so this is kind of like the improved version.

i really like it. i like the lines:

i think to have a best friend you need trust and i like how your poem expresses that, even if its just in this little part. :)
