Autumn

Autumn

A Poem by Crystal L

Autumn

The Autumn wind in the sky,

 reminds me of pumpkin pie.

Its luscious colors make me think of the horizon dipping into a glistening pool.

Night becomes longer, days become shorter.

The leaves start to turn old grey and brown.

Winter is soon to win the crown.

Autumn cannot stay too long.

As it soon must be gone.

Winter is coming and here to stay.

Oh, Autumn must leave its leaves blazing.

Until darkness send it off to sleep.
