Paradox

An open lid on a sealed up box

A thief who gives instead of takes

A bomb that heals instead of breaks

Water that walks instead of runs

A nurse who hurts others for the fun

A liar who tells wanted truths

A home that rejects a needy recluse

Addicts who quit instead of desire

A " holy " predator in priestly garb

Food that makes the obese starve

A prison that heals instead locks

This shall be a paradox.

I like this write. I enjoyed all of the "paradoxes" you created and wish they were true. ~Sharon

Water that walks instead of runs is my favorite line. I also like the way box, walks locks and then paradox carry a rhythm when I read your poem out loud.
