For us love addicts out there. Sometimes its our downfall. Tip; don't force. Trust God and go with the flow. As they say; "good things come to those who wait".

The Man Who Loved

Love; a force of nature that is so divine,

Yet tragic and beautiful at the same time.

It is the only way for our soul to be complete.

It is a biblical necessity for human life.

A man once lived as if love was unreal,

Until he encountered it’s sweet kiss on the cheek.

After living a life of trying to fill voids and pass time,

He was infatuated with the feeling love provides.

When he woke up in the early hours of the morning,

He would eat love filled words for breakfast.

He lived every moment devoted towards another,

So much as he slowly lost grasp on reality.

He hated every threat to the love that he bared,

So much that he kept it in a cage, under his watch.

He jumped at every moment he saw his very love,

Trying to escape from the jagged metal bars.

The slightest sign of dismay became a catastrophe.

He was paranoid to lose what he treasured most.

It felt as if love was spilling through the crevices of his hands,

And soon he would return to being an incomplete man.

In his effort to control and hold onto the rewards of love,

He drove it all away, and made himself insane.

The hole in his soul became deeper than before,

And he wonders if love was ever worth this pain.

Humans thrive on love the way that,

Plants thrive off of water, the way that,

Humans need connection with another, the way that,

Air fills our lungs and love feeds our soul.
