Mocking bell

Mocking bell

A Poem by Martin Ostar

There is a bell that mocks
Love is full blind relying
A strong, painless blowing up
Of sense and functioning sensibility
The chimming is thunder
So I'll take my quiet life of handshakes
The devil's touch of no surprises
Wander along the embankment of loneliness
My final affair slides closer towards me
'You!' she hisses and bites away my apple
Dreams flood my conscience like blood splatter
I stand suddenly in a clear and look up
Sunshine heals the damage of my drug dileria
Too much ingestion can make you sane
Too little and you begin to reflect
I'll get my life back together - yes I will
A lieing smile crosses your lips.
