I am a writer.

I am a writer.

A Poem by I am a young writer don't judge me

"I am a writer" I say to you and I see your eyes change

You always wanted to live forever and now you had a way

You chained me to my desk

Burned the pen into my hand

And told me to write of you

Until I was dead

You stole the passion in my words

The fire from my soul

Until I didn't even

Want to write at all

You left me to my own devices

That was your mistake

Because knights may fight with swords

But the pens a writer's blade

I wrote you into a cage

Made with the ink inside my veins

I trapped you in my world of words

Never to escape

Now you will live forever

That was you goal

But not as a hero to be revered

But as the monster that you are
