Dangling on Dream's Edge

Dangling on Dream's Edge

A Poem by Jonhoi Vaughn

smoking wet dreams under the straddle of your ghost

baptizes me under

the teething takes hold when sleep dangles from my eyelids,

1 ton

i am beyond alone

in an imaginary moment

i almost lived

all i know is that i am born to a niche

that revists me in memory without flaw...

in reality without fail...

that "regret" and "silence"

these are the names of whispered winds in my desert.

winds, tasting me in small pieces...

crawling up my back to hug me in its shell

plugging into me:

a husk of hope

and so i am reminded

in the colour of grey...

that solitude is a place where i call

home

cherchez la femme . . . the words are gorgeous, softer than a lot of the previous work you've posted

mesmerizing, I read it over again several times
