Seconds ago it was luminous here and there

Seconds ago it was luminous here and there

A Poem by Parikshit Hamritte

As if at the snap of the fingers
It was gone
Vanishing in the air

Seconds ago it was luminous here and there

In the blink of an eye
Darkness pervaded in there
There where lay scattered drafts on my table
And paper trash on the marble

Seconds ago it was luminous here and there

I hurried to the door
Hoping for the moon
I was mistaken
The sky was even more darken

Seconds ago it was luminous here and there
