Dr. Wood!

Dr. Wood!

A Poem by PP
"

A dedication to the poet who makes us all laugh on cafe!

"
On many gloomy days
When my mind is set on mundane things of life
Boring computer screens and repetitive 9-5s
There is one place I know
Where laughter is guaranteed..
'One read and a laugh' everyone recommends..
Even so, I have heard you get your money back
If he can't pull out anything from his magic bag!

I've now met Ken- the immigrating kangaroo,
And the silly green man..
I've heard about weird incidents
those of which have occurred in farm yards
Of wizards and dragons
and grannies and pumpkin pies
He's said it all!

This poem is strictly a piece of appreciation
To the happiest writer on the cafe..
O'course you've guessed it right - Dr Wood our dearest..
Oh! Don't worry - he hasn't bribed me into this act!

I am posting this token of appreciation without Dr Wood's consent! LOL..All that I fear is he might cast one of his magic spells on me and turn me into a frog or something!!!!

A great tribute. I don't have any interactions with him but I'm sure he will love this and appreciate your gesture of friendship...:)...............
