Love Notes

Love Notes

A Poem by Paige Manning
"

A poem of wanting to love but afraid of seeing whats inside of me.

"

I hate your love notes reminding me.

The way you leave roses by by the stairs

But there's something you can't see

And the way it feels like nobody cares.

The way you leave roses by the stairs

My head fills with this unknown hate

And the way it feels like nobody cares.

Take one for the team and stick it to fate.

My head fills with this unknown hate

Go ahead, make my day, I dare you

Take one for the team and stick it to fate

This really isn't all that new.

Go ahead, make my day, I dare you

How many times are you going to play with my heart?

'Til the peices just fall apart?

How many times are you going to play with my heart?

'Til I scream from all the pain?

'Til the peices just fall apart?

'Til I sit just numb in the rain?

'Til I scream from all the pain?

You'd like that too much wouldn't you?

'Til I sit just numb in the rain?

All I wanted was to start anew.

You'd like that too much wouldn't you.

Knowing you did what you did

all I wanted was to start anew

I didn't want you to see what I hid.

Knowing you did what you did

I hate your love notes reminding me

I didn't want you to know what I hid

But there's something you can't see....
