Serenity Among Spirits

Serenity Among Spirits

A Poem by Brittany
"

About my first experience with psychic abilities and spirit.

"
I awoke one morning, to an eerie sight. My lips did tremble, weary with fright.
I asked who are you, to which no reply. When she'd gone, I let a sigh.
I saw them, more and more. It was a gift, I couldn't ignore.
I soon got comfortable, less afraid. A visit to me, one spirit paid.
A loved one, from on high. I could tell, by the look of their eye.
Her name was Alice, I dropped tears. Great Grandma left us, about twelve years.
She embraced me, saying she was proud. I asked her to stay, she wasn't allowed.
I felt alone, after she'd left. Her love, I was bereft.
I experienced, more of the dead. I felt softened, looking at my bed.
There was a girl, of a tender age. She looked eager, not of rage.
I held my hand, she took it very gentle. That's when I learned, her name is Kristal.
She's been with me, ever since. Though she still looks, for her prince.

About
I am a survivor of many tragedies in my life. Not many can say they are as strong as I am emotionally or mentally. Spiritually, I am still getting there. However, writing has always been a tool for me.. more..
