He will never know.

He will never know.

A Story by Pallavi Rathsharma
"

I am not a writer, I just wanted to write up some emotions.

"
She felt he was the best person she had ever met in her life . He used to smoke, he used to get stoned, he used to get drunk , he always took people for granted. But still she wanted him around always. Was she obsessed ? no, Was she in love ? May be .
He made her life worth living, he made her feel like a baby. He treated her like his baby .No, she wasn't his love of his love. May be it was the way he talked with every second girl. But it never made any difference.
Just a smile would melt her heart, and make her forget everything. She loved the way he used to scold her for not taking her care, but what he never understood was she did all that intentionally. She wanted to be his baby , always. She wanted him to take care of her. She did silly things , which always made him say - "You are a baby , A crazy one".
Is this what she always wanted ?
Did she want more than this?
Did she deserve more?
She never knew, she never wanted to know.
She never asked him anything, because may be she never wanted to loose these small gestures too.
May be she deserved more than this, but she never wanted to let go.
He will never know what she went through every night , He will never know how she felt when she saw him with other girls.
He will never know the little sweet gestures make her fall in love with him even more.
He will never know that she loved him more than she wanted to.
He will never know that she loved him and it killed her , yet made her life beautiful.

What I say subtle in here, was that it's not over, that the possibility is not all the way gone, however given how well the reader gets to know the nature of the guy, I would say it is his imperceptible disinterest, that would make knowing next to impossible, but that could be seen as part of a larger context of youth relationship games, and where your maturity will evolve and grow to on that point may be here or there or something else entirely. In life, we can separate it to at least 6 or 7 phases. Don't miss any of them, the younger you are the more you can pretend to be a little extra naive, for different outcomes, but so the other danger is, trying to be too mature or something, too fast, in which case the prognosis isn't as good, I mean like, if a 30+ yr old asks you to marry him! you know he is probably serious about it! or at least that's what the Germans say
