Whales Tears

Whales Tears

A Poem by mysticgmekeepr

I have seen the white whale
 rise in splendor,
up out of the brackish waters of the inlet,
just beyond the deceptive mud flats
of my fears.
Sensed his ancient remembrance
of whalers and harpoons,
Watched as he spewed his ocean breath
into the air...
and felt the kiss
of ancient sea tears
in my hair,
glistening off the sun,
as he made his run.

the picture is a dolphin but it serves the purpose. I didn't have one of a whale:-)

Very nice...I like this part most:

"Watched as he spewed his ocean breath
into the air...
and felt the kiss
of ancient sea tears'

I love watching whales breach. This poem makes me able to picture it more clearly...thanks for sharing it.
