Stuck in a Maze

Stuck in a Maze

A Poem by Parsa
"

Unhealed heartbreak resurfaces.Thats what the poem is about.

"
I'm two words away
To fall apart
Like sand castle
Breaks upon the incoming waves.
I find myself
Replaying the same record
That played on the night we met.
Breezes like the onset of winter
Peaks through the nooks of my closed window.
I feel like
I'm going through
Another round of PTSD episode.
I curse the night we met
Wish I were asleep.
Hurt will weight more than love
Like I'm carrying the corpse
Of a beloved war mate.
It's absorbing my life out
Like shadows following me.
Eating out my insides
When I'm lonely at night.
I'm climbing a mountain
Of pain engraved in each rock.
My hands are bleeding
But the climb isn't ending.
My mind stays stuck
But I can't scream
I can't breathe.
The air is getting thinner
And water deeper.
Everyday I struggle
No submarines at rescue,
Maybe never.
