Freedom from Frostbite

Freedom from Frostbite

A Poem by Parsa
"

Dealing with the pain of a loved one gone cold.

"
You are not running in my mind now....
You are just a muse for my empty mind
Or my busy mind is the escape route of constantly loving you.
You were a lava
Of burning passion
That ignited my soul
Lighten up every dark alleys of my being.
Now you have vanished
In the oblivion of a frozen sculpture
I can touch you
But the frostbite
Bleeds my fingers.
I eagerly wait
One day you will melt
The warmth in my heart
Will touch yours
All my pain and pallor
Will be washed away
As the ice will crack
You will flow.
And we will be free
To love ,
To conquer ,
To live
A tale written by you and I.
