Alternative:Death

Alternative:Death

A Poem by Parsa
"

A poetic rant of what a former lover would think after the death of the protagonist

"
If I have silent demise
Will it move you?
Will you blink,
stop for a moment ?
Will it make you love me
Just the way you loved her.
Will a soft demise
Finally make me lovable to you?
There's no other way
I see this retrieving.
Will you write for me
Or will you come visit
My kingdom of words
I've weaved you a quilt
Where you can find warmth
When I will be long gone.
But do you care
How I was abandoned in the cold and
Became a walking talking pretty corpse.
Will a silent demise
Suffice ?
