A Poem by Parvathy Nandan
"

a token of love for my best friend who is hidden beneath these lines

"
Cheer beneath contempt
tear beneath the grin
fear beneath facade
dilemma now and then
cruel eyes cast thee
and hidden behind thy mask
but revel to sight mine
true like ancient seer
beneath the grey and dark
liveth the soul sweetest
liveth thy soul my friend...

Use of words like thee, thy, thou... Well, always fascinated me but I dont know how many people actually use these anymore.

However, they give you poem a classic feel to it, and the flow was also nice.

You've created an air of mysticism around your poem. Well written..!!
