AS LONG AS YOU HAVE YOURSELF, YOU DON'T NEED ANYONE

 

Its funny how people say that their your friend but their only out to get you

Its funny how they use you for their own selfish needs

Its f-ing funny how they can laugh with you but then go laugh behind your back

Its funny how after they’ve milked you for all that you have they don’t seem to need you, they don’t seem to care about you

Its ridiculous the s**t you’ll put up with trying to be a good friend

Its f-ing ridiculous all the blows and s**t you stand and take

 

 

But what’s funny, what’s truly ridiculous

Is you

You want someone to care

You want someone to love you

You want someone for once to be the person who gives things up for you

You want someone who will go out of the way for you

You’re tried of being the one who does it all for everyone

 

 

They’ve abused you time and time again

You’re an old woman, you’ve seen it all

You’re a dog, defenseless, kicked at and unloved

You’re a b***h for standing up for what you believe in

You’ve got people got to get you, talking about you, hating on you

 

 

Why?

Because you’re tried of being beaten down, told no to, and let down

You just want it all to stop,

You just want people to stop

 

 

But they don’t

You want them to stop hurting you and misusing you

They keep taking from you

They keep pushing you

Not knowing the devil inside you

The demon

The monster

That you stuggle to keep inside

But with every lie told you,

With every deceitful move

You get angier and more vengeful,

And then you start pushing back

You have all this hate built up,

That you push so hard, you kill them

But your not sad about it,

You’re glad because now they’re stopped hurting you,

And now you’re strong enough

Now you realize that you don’t need anyone to love or care for you

As long as you have yourself, you don’t need anyone
