God Particle

God Particle

A Poem by John Alexander McFadyen

God Particle

Collide.

Smash to destruction

all that is created;

to be born again.

To rise with majesty,

and triumph over God

with your science.

If only Darwin had known

such liberation,

the freedom to believe.

Prove your point

that earthly creatures of dust

have set and formed

from cellestial treacle.

Have ruled this speck

in the void of man’s univesrse,

a place created by man

simply because he believes it so.

And yet his lack of self belief,

his grave and earnest doubt,

drives him to seek,

if not his God,

his particle of faith.

Yes the theme of some of your writing for sure. Beautifully distilled in this piece. I haven't a thing more to say but bravo.

Thank you KLG for such a kind review.
Not a teacher now, not a case of once a teacher always a teacher, just an unpaid poet.

Hi, I'm astounded by the enormous number of poems you have written! Some very dark. How are today? I'm struggling with Mr Vaillancourt - I feel I should know who he is, but don't.

For a teacher That's not good! Maybe I will have to pen a Parker piece lol!
The last lines were perfect, the theme of faith is not an easy one to write about but you've handled it perfectly.

About
Well, have a long and complicated story and started it as an autobiography on Bebo but got writer's block/memory fogging. People liked it though and kept asking for the next chapter! fools.. more..
