Precious Hope

Precious Hope

A Poem by John Alexander McFadyen

Precious Hope

Your hands are delicate and careful on my skin,

as you search for my devotion.

Your kisses are loving and deep and sultry

as you guide my desire.

We give one another free reign with our bodies,

such a delicate but robust form,

with which lithe carnal satisfaction

is given and received in plentiful joy.

And we already know one another

with rich and intimate loving;

a trust in which we place

the fragility of our most precious hope.
