![]() She's ApplesA Poem by John Alexander McFadyen![]() In Australia and New Zealand a term meaning 'nice'![]() She’s Apples I seek to test the safety and security of your heart. I see you apples and spice and think I may be losing my mind as I drift carelessly back to love. I have burned in hell’s fires, soaked in the accelerant scorn of women past, and I have hidden beneath the cloak of anger and hurt afraid to take a breath lest I suffocate in the vile vomit spewed from those diseased souls. But you come in gentle strokes, offer me redemption, lay yourself bare and open to every desire I own; your voluptuous generosity making my mortal flesh weak with dripping salivation. So, so apples and rice that I cannot resist such warm temptation. 04/05/13 © 2013 John Alexander McFadyenReviews
