Club New Orleans

Club New Orleans

A Poem by John Alexander McFadyen
"

Jazz is more than simply music.

"

The sultry notes

immerse me

in amniotic bliss.

I float to the tones

of whispered,

sensual virgin sighs.

White, unsullied,

breasts and thighs

float in pheromones

of lust

as I feel the marihuana

of music draw me

into the orgasmic arms

of jazz.

I sip another

cucumber gin,

wishing

the blue smoke

of the speakeasy

would return

forever.
