![]() The Shrew and The WalrusA Poem by John Alexander McFadyen![]() OK silly period ends; I'm shrew with it!![]() A shrew and
a walrus took a trip to the coast for that
wily mammal knew she loved it the most, to stand on
the sand, fresh salty breeze on her snout the warmth
of the sun, to the sea looking out. So they took
a romantic stroll on the dunes while he
sang her all his known love tunes. The sun
started setting, the moon on the rise as sparkling
stars filled those heavenly skies. He bent on
one flipper and took out a ring and offered
to her life devotion to bring. She looked
up at his smile, his whiskers so prim and told him
she would be proud to be married to him. He thought
she looked peckish and needed to eat so they
walked to a cafe on the next street, then he
stopped and he stared deep into her eyes and asked if
she wanted potatoes or fries! 13/10/20 © 2020 John Alexander McFadyenAuthor's Note

People liked it though and kept asking for the next chapter! fools.. more..Writing
