Seeking, Searching, Yearning

Seeking, Searching, Yearning

A Poem by John Alexander McFadyen
"

Sometimes we cannot settle for the mundane.

"

I crave a heart,

one free to love

with purity,

dedication and

abandon.

One who would

share my existence

with all it's

ups and downs,

it's pleasures

and its pains.

A  soul who wishes for

life in all it's jagged,

splintered forms

and who longs for

the womb

of carnal satisfaction,

and who is willing

to give her all

in return

for lust's delights,

devoted

to her absolute

fulfilment.

Yep. It's not looking good is it?
Commitment is an ugly word that spoils the best, most fulfilling of associations. We wish for something beautiful and it seems that way for a while but I always end up with egg on my face. :)

Hello John. We will know few people who will excite our mind and our body. I liked the want and the need in these words. Thank you for sharing your amazing poetry.

You are welcome John.
when the physical and emotional are so well tied together...there is intense passion.
And relationships are certainly sharing ups and downs, and downs, and downs.
Many don't go that far...they only want the ups.

I like "the womb/of carnal satisfaction"---
to be loved so strongly that we feel like are really in each other's body, heart and soul.

Oh and did I mention a' muse' ment too lol
That's an interesting poem, with a good mix of elements to it.

The heart is empty of love, until the loins kick in to grab it, but then the mind must be realigned for love to still remain love.

Ha, ha, yes, thanks. I try to live up to my name here....
Sounds like a good deal to me. I guess we're all looking for someone to co-exist with who has the same values and desires.

Thank you so much Briana and good wishes to you too.
I've gone straight to Amsterdam for some reason.
Though I could just put your poem on the lust site and see how I get on, or get off as the case may be.
If you're in tier 1, can you get up to mischief with the girl in tier 3, or is that a no, no.
