![]() Climbing The WallA Poem by John Alexander McFadyen![]() Sometimes despite our best efforts we do not control love.![]() Uncontrolled, love is like
an ice axe. You use your
skill, your wrist
action, to bury it deep enough to give a
steady purchase. To allow you
to pull yourself
higher up the cliff
face. Slowly you move
towards the summit, knowing, if you put
one foot wrong, if your axe
does not bite deep enough, you might plummet back to
earth. Sometimes one swift
tap leaves you
secure, sometimes you swing
frenetically trying to
get a firm grip. But always, always you have a
fear of falling. 14/11/20 © 2020 John Alexander McFadyenAuthor's Note

People liked it though and kept asking for the next chapter! fools.. more..Writing
