    Dear Madam

         We have received news of a sort, about Raphael. According to my latest intelligence, the Abbot of Chanleuges, as a favor or debt payment to a Norman knight is holding  Raphael. We have not yet been told the name of this knight but it should be only a matter of time before we learn it.

 We have sent a messenger to the abbot inquiring as to the ransom being demanded and by whom. We have also inquired as to the health of Raphael and the others being held along with the terms for their release also.

  We pray, Madam that you will find this news uplifting and hopeful. Know too that we will not rest till Raphael and those taken with him are again safely home.
