I get pulled in by the need, not the want.

 

Its the need.

 

The need to feel what it does to me and how I react to it.

 

The words just pour out of me like an over filled cup of water spilling drops of water all over paper. 

 

I'm in trouble when I give into it. 

 

I am rotten over its constant need to stay on me. 

 

The smell of it reeks on my flesh.

 

Captive and willing is a terrible mixture.

I understand the "need" versus the "want." I think this was a great poem and your last line is all too true: "captive and willing is a terrible mixture." I really enjoyed this poem because again, I saw myself in it. You have a way of connecting to your readers, especially those like me who have experienced similar things. Keep it up!

NOTE: That long line might flow better broken into two lines.
