Early Morning

Early Morning

A Poem by Paul

Oh early morning

I miss your smile

I miss your warm warm touch

You’ve been gone for a while

I miss your fooling

And you calling late at night

I even miss our shouting

But I know it wasn’t right

Maybe you’ll call someday

You know I’ve been thinking

‘bout when we met last

You know I’ve got some regrets

But I’ll forget them fast

‘cos I’m still hear for you you

For all to see

Just another fool

With his heart on his sleeve

Maybe you’ll call someday

Maybe you’ll call someday

Love and recover

Is all I do

Love and recover

From you

Oh early morning

I miss your smile

I miss your warm warm touch

You’ve been gone for a while

Maybe you’ll call someday

Maybe you’ll call someday

Maybe you’ll call someday

Maybe someday maybe never
