The beach

The beach

A Poem by Twirly

The waves cascade toward the shore in a set pattern of hierarchy

The noble waves bowing to the royal beach, crowned with the jewels of stones and shells

The surrounding surfs, clothed in the woven fabric of dried grass bent in devoted prayer fingertips together and forehead to the floor

Dancing maidens, feet light, entertain the court with flights in flocks at the subtlest of starts

Gentle cloaks of a warm salted breeze enfold all in billowing currents of curiosity

A score by unseen hands orchestrates it all.
