Evanescence

Evanescence

A Poem by peacewillconquer

I'm not going to remember this moment
This taunting shock of electricity racing through head to toe
Because i saw you
How can the touch of your warmth send shivers throughout this deathly cold body?
It should be in reverse
Will you remember what it was like to be caged up next to me?
Our own little world locked away from social aromas
Eyes closed to absorb more of our senses
Instead of enjoying this prescence with you, the anxiety inside of my head is swimming with questions
Questions i'm too afraid to ask
But i want to share with you what i'm thinking
I want to share this pain
I'm on a path of self-destruction and you're just adding to it
I'm not ready to go through this obsession and lust with yet another substance
You
