I've found you.

I've found you.

A Poem by Peaches
"

A reflection on my first actual crush that I didn't hide from.

"
Magic dwells from within me
It has been too long at sea
The rain would disappear for seconds
Joy only lasts for seconds at a time
And then came the dreary soreness to my heart
That tore me inside out
Death seemed to lure me like
Tired adult men to strong coffee

But alas, that day is gone
I've found you.

People would say
It is selfish and horrid if you try to find your other half
That the other half has to be the individual themselves
But that is just an optional guidance by people who've been betrayed by hearts
Every advice you get has to be taken into perspective
So, what's so wrong with wanting company?
Absolutely nothing

I've found you.
My dear heart won't stop dancing every time I see your presence
I'm never cold when you're around, but
Oh, lord!
How my hands refuse to stop shivering

There is a light in your eyes,
I'm sure you never were quite aware of
You are imperfectly perfect

I have not found land, I have not found treasure
I've found you.
You are that unforgettable warm colored autumn leaves
During a sunset
To others you may be
The full moon during a meter shower
What others see is a human being
But what I see
Is a GOD damn human being

Magic dwells out of me
I've found you.
I've found you,
Happiness.

Author's Note

Peaches
This is a kind of analogy of my crush and the happiness I found in myself that time. So, I hope that clears why I put the last line.
