A Story by Eileen
"

Had a feeling like this, over-dramatization of course.

"
She turned the corner, there they were.
Smiling.
Happy.
So blissfully in love.
It's all she ever wanted.

Her body stiffened as she clenched her fists. Her chest stuck out, as her breath shook close to violently, racking her whole body. Her eyes shook, it shone colors of jealousy, pain, and want.

Why can't that be me?

Her delicate frame shook as she stood in the door frame. Her face burning an auburn red.
She shook her and turned to walk away.

"Mel?-"

She panicked and let out a sob, losing her composure. Fast paced steps, each one faster and fast.

"Mel, I'm sorry."

Running. Now she's running. Her dark hair hitting the wind and her peach colored dress as her pearl necklace bounced with each stride of her run.

Me too.

This is a beautiful scene. I love how you say so much with so little. You should turn this into a book! This is so artistically composed!
