For Her

For Her

A Poem by Brandon

Watcher of the stars and speaker of the forbidden word I bare my love upon the raging shores like a testament written for the supreme glory of an ancient god. Like a guide assuring my safety through the burning shards of a wanting enemies grasp without her my soul is lost to pain and sure destruction. Her mere beauty casting its enchanting spell upon my wishful mind makes even my will melt upon the world like the fiery debris of a spewing volcano. Her loyalty like that of a warrior for lord and land unbreakable even to the strongest of foes. Undeserving I am to this goddess and her grace yet unwilling I am to accept anything other then her temple. Her hand I desire for my soul she inspires the mere dirt on her feet I stand firm to worship.
