Dream Folk

Dream Folk

A Poem by Adam Light

In my dreams, I can fly.

To the dream folk, I show,

but they never care,

so through the trees I go.

With the moon above me,

and mankind below,

I glide through the night

and watch the earth glow.

From tree branch to house,

and house to street light,

with my mind and my soul,

I control my dream flight.

And when I wake up,

I miss the feeling I had,

And forgive the dream folk

for being so sad.
