Darling Flower

Darling Flower

A Poem by Adam Light

Darling,

woman that I don’t know,

a universe I’ve yet to give go,

I want you fiercely,

and I will look for you so,

under a moonlit expanse

full of flowers and snow.

With my feet numb and cold,

I will look for your glow,

and I’ll follow the stream

that your warmth has made flow.

I’ll find you, my flower,

like a botanical pro,

and as the snow melts,

together we’ll grow.
