![]() A House with Inner LightA Poem by Adam LightA fear appears before me as I traverse terrain. In the wild, I've survived, with the lightning and the rain. From a distance, I keep an eye on a house with inner light, and imagine being dry and sheltered from eternal night. Thunder cracks, and I'm not sure if loneliness can even end, But I will walk towards my fear and gift my soul to break or mend. Nothing's got the same meaning after years and years of rain, but it's done some useful cleaning with all those drops of pain.
