Nisha

A Poem by Pennywriter

Nisha

Once there was a girl,

Selling pens

On the street.

She approached a street stroller,

But in vain.

She then walked up,

To other pedestrians

And sellers.

Once again,

To no avail.

She walked back,

To the street stroller…

Who bought six pens.

The next day,

I strolled around the streets.

The girl was gone.

I am left here with a mystery on my hands. What happened to Nisha, the street seller? She has gone and I think the street stroller is as concerned as I am. My mind is left wandering.
