Convince

Convince

A Poem by PenguinChild

If there is a window to smash in my way of you

Let me smash it

Let my dream be lived,

Divide the fake and the real

If there is a crowd so barbaric that it must be pushed to find you

Let me push

Let yourself free from a world of label

Trust an instinct which brings me to me knees

If some astrologer tells me you are just not in the foreseen

Let me rearrange the stars

Let yourself be you, that’s all I could ask of

Exfoliate a reality, I once believed only in the ideals of passion
