Poems by a People-Watcher: A Poem to a two-faced friend

Poems by a People-Watcher: A Poem to a two-faced friend

A Poem by Elizabeth

That face that shows compassion and laugter
Soon turns to disgust and disaster.

A face that so easily agrees
quickly changes to confuse and displease.

These two faces
I rarely see both

A two-faced friend so easily
accused of disloyalty,

You intrigue and excite My curiosity
for I never know which you will be.

But soon your faces reveal what's beneath
And it does not agree.

These two faces I see are not one
the person you truly want to be.

simple but good. It flows rather well, i like the idea. I'd go deeper though, I want more, more references more allusions. I'd say this is the first draft of a gem.
Would appreciate you checking my stuff out
