Dreamer-Looker

Dreamer-Looker

A Poem by Persephone Poe

That boy over there is a dreamer-looker
He's got that dreamy look in his eyes
And sure, he looks like anyone else
Like he's just a regular old guy

In the morning
Late at night
He chases his dreams
With no fight

You can tell someone is a dreamer-looker
When they've got a dreamy look in their eye
He's a dreamer
Lookin' at femurs
Thinking of screamers
And milk thistle thighs

In the morning
Late at night
He chases his dreams
With no fight

Dreamer-lookers
Dream and look
You can see they have dreams in their eyes
Their piercing, beady eyes
They blend in because they're wise

Dreamer-looker
Why do you have
That dreamy look in your eyes?
Does anyone know what you're dreaming of
Before somebody dies?

In the morning
Late at night
He chases his dreams
With no fight.
