FALSE FRONT

FALSE FRONT

A Poem by Peter Truth
"

I first posted this a year ago but it was lost to the big delete,

"

There is a

distance between

the brain and the mind.

Psyche isn't

what you are,

but who you

think you are.

Ego controls

more than

you know

it does.

Logic is

the first

casualty of pride.

Love is just

a tool

to use as

you need.

Pain is relative

especially when

you depend  on it.

Now is

all that matters

especially today,

but it's only a

product of who

you think

you are.

There's a distance

between the brain

and the mind.

This is very good. You have a music in your poetry. And here it is a painful music.
