Dedicated to all the moms out there doing their thing, especially my own. Thanks...

Each day they work to make life just a little bit easier,
fighting for our future, a chance to truly blossom,
with some helpful advice, she always has the answer,
a courageous example of how great we could become.

Mom is the kind of person who doesn't change her mind,
once a decision has been made, there's no turning back,
with that kind of support, you'll never feel left behind,
she's always there to help out and even pick up the slack.

Whether she's in the room or a thousand miles away,
she'll always be more than just a cook, driver or maid,
the one who is there whenever your skies go gray,
every mother deserves a day to have their love repaid.

When thinking of my mother, most thoughts are good,
despite mistakes, we all understand no one is perfect,
yet she bravely mans the lighthouse of our childhood,
things turned out all right, better than we could predict.
