Perfectionism?

Perfectionism?

A Poem by Devan
"

Something I wrote as a teenager so it's pretty personal and goes back into some unhappy memories.

"
Is it wrong to be odd?
Not fitting in being normal...
So outta place it makes you wonder...
Is it wrong for me to be?

The outcasts of the perfectionists...
Never fitting in...always thinking different...
Doesn't know who you are
or how you think or feel...

The pain you see and hear
The suffering you go through
The chaos you suffer

But oh...don't they see...
Why can't they?
The torment locked down inside...
How come they don't see how sad it is?
To cry and hate deep down...

They are the imperfection...
Not you...will you believe?
They don't see things for what they are
or what they will be.
The moods they cause...
It's they who are at fault.

Not me...

Hm.. This poem reminds me of my life. The judging of others, an the stares for being different. I was an outcast, an anti-social. Hm.. I love it! Very work, hope to see more of this.
